Cross-platform Go CLI that backs up FiveM and RedM servers and MariaDB databases to S3-compatible storage, with retention and Discord notifications.
GoMariaDBAmazon S3DockerFiveM
Overview#
A cross-platform backup tool for FiveM and RedM servers and their MariaDB databases. It ships as a single Go binary that runs on Linux, macOS and Windows.
Features#
- Server and database backups with gzip compression, typically cutting size by 70–80%.
- S3-compatible storage (AWS S3, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces, MinIO), streamed directly so no local disk space is needed.
- Retention policies that clean up old backups automatically.
- Discord notifications with backup status and file sizes.
- Runs anywhere: systemd timers, cron, Docker or Windows Task Scheduler, with exit codes for monitoring.
# Back up the server and database, upload to S3 and post to Discord ./pxBackupManager -db-name "fivem" \ -s3-enabled -s3-bucket "my-backups" \ -discord-webhook "$WEBHOOK" -notify-success
